The most dominating male Panda gets the chance to copulate with the female. The copulation time lasts for only a few minutes and after around 135 days, cubs are born.

Breeders often face problems in inducing captive breeding in Pandas. The main problem with the Pandas in captivity is that they are amazingly shy of sexually approaching towards partners of opposite sex.

In general the copulation lasts for less than a minute which may not lead to the proper fertilization.
